The Nazi program in Germany may have been more forgiving of lesbians compared to may be expected, new research recommends.
Discoveries from authorities examination files from the 1940s including alleged infractions of same-sex connections laws and their evaluation show up in the Journal of Modern Background.
"These files include a brand-new degree of nuance to current scholarship," says study writer Samuel Clowes Huneke, a doctoral prospect in background at Stanford College. "They tip at a more normal presence that was the everyday experience of some lesbians in the 3rd Reich."

Documents have well-documented the methodical persecution of gay guys under the Nazi program. The regime's laws clearly criminalized homosexual acts in between guys.
